• Family reunification: This is possible as soon as you have passed the professional recognition. Your spouse and your joint children can join you. Your spouse must obtain an A1 language certificate. Your parents and siblings can visit you for up to 3 months per year as tourists, but cannot receive a residence permit.
• Food/catering: The employer usually provides catering in the respective facilities, which can be booked for a small fee.
• Salary: EUR 2,600 – EUR 3,000 or more or more, depending on employer / Euro 300-500 benefits for night shift, Sunday & bank holidays (after completing adaptation qualification)
• Free School and university education, also available to all family members
• Pension fund, free healthcare, child benefits (Kindergeld)
• Professional recognition that is valid for life and does not need to be renewed.
• 8 Hour work shifts / At least 25, up to 35 days holiday per year (depending on shift and employer)
• Living/housing: Before you enter the country, your employer will organise accommodation for you. Either they have already provided flats for you on their premises or they will rent partially subsidised flats nearby. The flats are not free of charge but cheaper than on the open market.
